THE HOLE STUDIO
ABOUT THE HOLE STUDIO
Where Performance Dances
Founded in Toronto (2025), The Hole Studio is a non-profit interdisciplinary laboratory fusing contemporary performance art, postmodern theater, and bold cinematic storytelling. We reject static categories, crafting works that pulse with cultural hybridity, diasporic identity, and radical collaboration. Born from the collision of Tehran’s underground avant-garde and Toronto’s experimental energy, we inhabit raw, repurposed spaces—warehouses, alleyways, forgotten screens—to ask: What happens when art refuses to sit still?
Our answer: A performance that dances.
